At Cornwall Art Studio we offer a relaxed and informal environment to develop your artistic skills. Have a look at the paintings in our Gallery to see art that has been created by participants in our Workshops, some of whom have never painted before.

All of the paintings have been completed in a 4 hour workshop.

Winter Fun - Naive 31/01/2019: It did turn out to be an extremely appropriate theme for Thursday's workshop, as the snow arrived soon after the session finished. Some fantastic paintings and everyone enjoyed the freedom of painting in a naive style.

Bring Along A Scene - Holiday 30/01/2019: We were painting scenes from our holiday memories today. A slightly smaller class than normal because of travel disruption due to snow in Devon, but the sun was shining in Wadebridge thankfully.

Toadstools & Mushrooms 29/01/2019: we took a walk through the woods from the comfort of the studio today & studied the amazing subject of fungi.

Hidden Coves 24/01/2019: Focusing on the secret coves on Cornwall's beautiful coast line.

The Estuary 23/01/2019: We are very fortunate to live on the Camel Estuary & what lovely tranquil scenes we had to paint today.

Winter Flowers 22/01/2019: Beautiful paintings of winter flowers today - there were so many different compositions to choose from.

Tonal - Moors & Tors 17/01/2019: Amazing that each of the paintings below was painting with only black, white and one other colour. They are so effective!

In the Frame - Woodland - Mixed Media 15/01/2019: Absolutely love this theme - so many different elements from priming your own board, created a painting with mixed media and then the framing finale! All in a 4 hour workshop so a fantastic achievement by all of our participants.

I don't think that the photos do these paintings full justice, as it difficult to capture the detail of the painting under glass. Painting on board is very different to using a canvas and we will consider doing more of this during the year so keep an eye on our Programme!

Cornwall's Coast 10/01/2019: Some fantastic paintings from the studio today. We have had an inspiring start to the year and we have a large quantity of blank canvases ready to be used - here's to another year of creativity. Can't wait to fill our Gallery for 2019 with your help!
